Verifying the STAF/STAX installation

After you install Software Testing Automation Framework (STAF) and Software Testing Automation Framework Execution Engine (STAX) on the server, you can quickly check to ensure that the install is configured correctly.

Procedure

  1. Start the STAF service on all machines.
  2. Verify that the STAF client is running on all servers and test machines by running the following command from the IBM® Engineering Test Management or STAX server. This also verifies the trust levels. 
    • > staf mytestmachine.ibm.com misc whoami
