Creating test plans from templates

You can use templates as starting points for test plans.

To create a test plan from a template:

1. In the main menu, click Planning > Create Test Plan.
2. In the Template field, select an available template.
   Note: If only one template is available for a test plan, the Template field is not available. The new test plan will use the default template.
3. Save the test plan.
   After you save the test plan, you cannot change it to use a new template. You can modify the sections that are included in the test plan by clicking the Manage Sections link after the table of contents.
