Name uniqueness
- Enforce name uniqueness for configurations
- The Enforce name uniqueness for configurations option is added to check whether the name that is created for a new configuration in a component is unique to that component. The new option is available in the when the project area is in full Configuration Management mode.
Change in product type names
- Update label for Rational tools to DevOps
- On the Test Script creation page in the Engineering Test Management web
user interface, the following names of the test script types are updated.
- DevOps Test Workbench to DevOps Test Workbench
- Rational Functional Testerto DevOps Test UI
- Rational® Performance Test Server to DevOps Test Performance
- Rational Test RealTimeto DevOps Test Embedded
- Rational Integration Tester to DevOps Test API

SAFe® templates
- SAFe® 6.0 Full and Essential templates

The SAFe® methodology is an industry-standard framework for helping organizations scale agile and lean practices to the enterprise level. Now, SAFe® Full and Essential templates are available to establish a Engineering Test Management environment that contains artifacts to validate cross-solution train portfolio epics, cross-Agile Release Train (ART) capabilities, and ART features and stories in the scope of a solution trains portfolio of one or more ARTs and its teams.
Note: In SAFe® 6.0, the following terminology changes are introduced:
- Program increment with planning interval
- Solution with solution train
- Program with ART
- Solution epic with solution train epic
- Program epic with ART epic
Important: In Engineering Test Management 7.1, when you create a
project by using a localized version of the SAFe 6.0 Full or Essential template, the project is
