Creating a data source connection from an existing connection

As an administrator or report designer, you can make copies of your data source connections, and then edit them. You might want to add a data source with a similar configuration to one that you already have.

1. On the Resources tab, click the Connections tab.
2. Find the connection that you want to copy.
3. In the Edit column, click the Duplicate connection icon.
4. Provide the properties for the new connection and click Save.

Results

The data source is displayed in the list of data source connections that are used by reports.
