Metadata properties
Open the Properties view in Document Studio and, from the Outline view, select Metadata. The Properties view displays these available metadata properties for templates.
General properties
In the All properties tab, these properties are at the top-level, in the Metadata, and in the sections.

| Name | String | The name of the element. |
| Description | String | A summary or note about this element. |
| Version | 1, 2 | The template version used to design the template. You must start a new template to change the version. |
| Query separator | / | Queries are displayed in a tree form in the Data Source View. When you select a child query, its parent queries display with it, divided by slashes (/). This field cannot be edited. |
