Fixing invalid data errors

When the output document-style report cannot be generated, try these troubleshooting tips.

Procedure

  1. Verify that the version of the product that you are using as a data source is supported.
  2. Verify that the data source is properly configured in the document specification.

What to do next

If you complete these steps and the document-style report still does not generate properly, you can set the document specification to ignore the errors.
  1. In the Document specification view, select Metadata.
  2. In the Properties view, set the Ignore Invalid Data Errors property to true.
  3. Publish the document specification. The document-style report generates, however, the XML or JSON data returned from the point product is invalid.
