Configuring container authentication for Publishing Document Builder

You can configure container authentication for Publishing Document Builder.

About this task

By default, the Publishing Document Builder is configured to use FORM authentication. BASIC authentication is not supported.

Note: PUB DB container authentication is deprecated from version 7.0.3 onwards. Ensure to switch to the Jazz® Team Server authentication models for logging in to Publishing Document Builder. For more information about how to migrate from container authentication to JTS authentication, see Configuring Jazz Team Server authentication for Publishing Document Builder.

Create users and assign roles on the application server. See Configuring users for Publishing Document Builder.
