Milestone 12

Added server-specific enumerations to the CAE custom enumerations list
As an ENI administrator, you can now add custom conditions for artifact properties such as Severity, Priority, and Team Area in SQL-based Custom Artifact Elements (CAEs), as server-specific enumerations are now supported.
Previously, SQL-based CAEs did not support server-specific enumerations in custom conditions because their values were tied to server-specific URLs, which made the CAEs nonportable across ELM servers.
With this update, server-specific enumerations are included in the CAE’s list of custom enumerations. These values are resolved dynamically at run time, helping ensure that the correct enumeration URLs are used based on the current ELM server context.
CAEs from Workshop package are no longer available
Workshop CAEs were built using SPARQL-based queries, which are no longer supported in Engineering Insights. As a result, the Workshop folder is removed from the CAE palette.
You can no longer use CAEs from the Workshop package to create views. Existing views that rely on Workshop CAEs might need to be updated or re-created by using CAEs from other available packages.

Milestone 11

Loading indicator added to Engineering Insights

Engineering Insights now shows a loading indicator while data is being retrieved. This visual feedback improves transparency and helps reduce uncertainty while your request is processed.

Jena support removed in Lifecycle Query Engine

Starting in version 7.2, support for Jena in Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE) is removed. The LQE relational store is now the only supported storage mechanism.

As a result, the predefined views, CAEs, and impact analysis conditions have been updated to support LQE rs.

SPAQRL support removed for Engineering Insights

SPARQL supported is removed for all ENI capabilities. Options to select Jena or SPARQL for creating any Custom Artifact Element (CAE), Impact Analysis Diagram, and views is now removed.

  • Predefined views for SQL
  • Predefined custom artifact elements for SQL

Milestone 6

Predefined content when using LQE relational store (LQE rs)

SQL-based sample Views and Custom Artifact Elements are now available in the predefined contents in Engineering Insights. Content packages are available in the following folders:

  • Predefined views for SQL
  • Predefined custom artifact elements for SQL
Project-admin permissions

The project admin now has permission to view all the user Views and Impact Analysis Diagrams.

New option added to the artifact picker
Keyword search is replaced with the ability to select an artifact type and apply conditions, which provides more specific results. A list of artifacts appear after selection.
