Configuring link appearance based on the link validity status in views

IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Optimization Engineering Insights enables view authors to configure the appearance of the links between the linked containers based on the value of the link validity status.

About this task

In the applications such as IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS® Next and IBM Engineering Test Management (Engineering Test Management), users can set the value of link validity status of relationships to Valid or Invalid.

For more information, see the Visual reporting and filtering based on the value of link validity status video.

Results

Links between the nodes in a view that satisfy the condition are updated to show the value (Valid and Invalid) of link validity Status.

The default color is green for Valid links. And the default color is red for Invalid links.

Links that have unknown status have no colors.

When you hover over the link, the conditions value of the link validity status is displayed.

The color of the links between the containers gives the value of the Link Validity Status
