Sorting nodes in a view

IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Optimization Engineering Insights allows view authors to sort the nodes in a container and customize the view.

1. Open the view in edit mode.
2. Right-click the container, click Refine container content, and then click Sort.
   
3. To add attributes based on which, you want to sort the nodes in a container, click Add....
   
4. In the Attribute column, select the required attribute from the list.
   
5. In the Sort type column, select the required sort type from the list.
   The sort type is Ascending by default. If required, you can select the sort type as Descending.
6. Repeat step 4 and 5 to add more attributes.
7. Click Ok.
   The artifacts are sorted in a container based on the attributes and sort order that you defined.

   You can also view the sorted artifacts in a report. To see the report, right-click the container, and then click Show query result.
