Setting background color in the form of shape

The IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Optimization Engineering Insights view designers can set the view background color in the form of fixed shape. The background color is not applied to the entire view canvas but only to the shape that is defined.

About this task

To set the view background color in the form of shape,

Procedure

  1. Open the view in edit mode.
  2. Go to the View properties section of the Properties pane.
  3. In the Background section, click the pencil icon.

  4. In the Background window, click Add....

  5. In the Add Shape window, select the shape type from the list.
  6. In the Shape attributes section, perform the following actions:
    • Click the pencil icon that is next to the Fill attribute, select the color, and then click Ok.
    • Click the pencil icon that is next to the Stroke attribute, select the color, and then click Ok.
    • Enter the coordinates values.
    • Specify the values for height, width, and radius attributes.

  7. Click Ok to close the Add shape window.
  8. Click Ok to close the Background window.
  9. Save the view.

Results

The color is set to the view canvas in the form of defined shape.
