Integrating ELM applications and Rational Asset Manager

When IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) and IBM Rational Asset Manager are integrated, you can link between ELM application artifacts and Rational Asset Manager assets.

Rational Asset Manager assets provide reusable solutions to specific business problems. The ELM applications include Change and Configuration Management (CCM), Quality Management (QM), and Requirements Management (RM).

Important: For projects in which configuration management is enabled, Rational Asset Manager integration will work only after it complies with the OASIS OSLC CCM TC specification.

You can configure the integration of ELM applications and Rational Asset Manager by using Open Services Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC). OSLC is an open standard that IBM is developing in cooperation with customers and other companies.
