Subscribing to product updates from the IBM Support Portal

To receive automatic updates when IBM publishes new support content for your products, subscribe to weekly email updates or RSS feeds. Support content might include information about new releases, fixes, technotes, APARs, and support flashes.

Before you begin

To sign up for email updates, you must be a registered user on the IBM Support Portal website.

Procedure

To subscribe to email updates:

  1. Open the IBM Support Portal website.
  2. In the navigation, click Other > My Notifications.
  3. Click Delivery Preferences to select
    • Email address
    • Frequency of email notifications
    • Email format (HTML or text)
    • Preferred language for notifications
    and click Submit.
  4. In the Subscribe to notifications section, type your product name in the Product lookup field, or click Browse for product.
  5. Click Subscribe for your product, and in the Select document types page, select the types of documents for which you want to receive information. Click Submit,
