Installing and enabling Lifecycle Query Engine relational store
Install and enable Lifecycle Query Engine, which includes Link Index Provider functionality.
Before you begin
From Engineering Lifecycle Management 7.1 onwards, the Lifecycle Query Engine relational store is the default data storage, replacing Lifecycle Query Engine Apache Jena.
Before you install Lifecycle Query Engine rs, ensure that the Engineering Lifecycle Management apps that you are using are upgraded to version 7.1 or later.
When you are enabling Lifecycle Query Engine relational store and hosting it on Db2, ensure that there is a user temporary table space. The user temporary table space is required after you enable the Use database temporary tables optimization in Report Builder. For more information, see Db2 documentation.
Note: Lifecycle Query Engine rs
supports only data warehouse databases that are created with Db2 or Oracle. Derby databases are not
supported.
