Verifying the Engineering Test Management application
After a successful server rename operation, and after you complete the steps in the server rename verification wizard, you perform a final verification of the Engineering Test Management application.
Important: After a successful server rename operation, you must restart the Eclipse
client to see updated links to Engineering Test Management and IBM® DOORS® Next artifacts in work
items.
- Verify navigable links in all rich text (XHTML) sections, such as the Test Case Design section of a test case.
- Verify links in the Normative and Informative Documents sections of the test plan, test case, or test suite. This section is used to attach or link to documents, such as applicable standards or guidelines specific to an industry or organization.
- Verify links in the Attachment sections of test plans, test cases, and test suites
- Verify Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next links in test plans, test cases, test scripts, test case results, and test suite
results. Note: RM links can be added to test scripts if the
Allow linking between Requirements and Test Script steps
project property is enabled. - Verify Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next server URLs in the Requirements menu.
- Verify Engineering Workflow Management links in test plans, test cases, test case and test suite results, and test case and test suite execution records
- Verify Engineering Workflow Management server URLs in the Change Requests menu.
- Verify links in the Related Sites pane.
- Verify Remote Connection links in the Remote Connection section of the Machine editor and Image Storage section of the Virtual Image editor.
