Getting started with global configurations

Team members with certain responsibilities have specific tasks to do to get started with using global configurations. The following information provides pointers to topics for initial steps to take.

About this task

The following diagram demonstrates an example workflow that includes operations that are completed in the Global Configuration Management application and in the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management applications.

Most of the tasks that support global configurations are performed by the configuration lead. All of the tasks in the "Working" section of the graphic are completed by the configuration lead, except "Work with global configurations," which links to a group of topics called "Working with configurations in Engineering Lifecycle Management applications" that users might perform in the Global Configuration Management application.
