Setting up Lifecycle Query Engine rs as Link Index Provider
If you have enabled the Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE) relational store (rs), you don't need to install Link Index Provider (LDX). LQE rs can function same as the Link Index Provider when needed. You can use LQE rs as LDX so that LQE rs is served for sending incoming links.
Procedure
To set up the Lifecycle Query Engine relational store as Link Index Provider, complete the following steps:
- Go to the Jazz® Team Server Administration page.
- Navigate to the Advanced properties page.
- Under the Links Component section, set the Link Index Provider URL property value to LQE URL. The LQE URL is in the following format: https://server:port/lqe/.
- Click Save to save your changes.
- Go to DOORS® Next, Engineering Test Management, and Engineering Workflow Management admin and repeat steps 2 to 4.
What to do next
Go to and check for the incoming queries in LQE rs.
The incoming queries confirm that the applications are sending queries for incoming link to LQE rs and not to LDX.
After the confirmation, you can unregister LDX and remove LDX application from server, which frees up space on the server.
