Configuring Kerberos/SPNEGO single sign-on authentication

You can use single sign-on for HTTP requests by using the Simple and Protected GSS-API Negotiation Mechanism (SPNEGO) web authentication for IBM® WebSphere® Liberty.

SPNEGO single sign-on (SSO) enables HTTP users to log in to a Microsoft® domain controller only for one time at their desktop and to achieve SSO with the Liberty server. See, Configuring SPNEGO authentication in Liberty.

Configuring IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management applications for Kerberos single sign-on (SSO) authentication requires planning your deployment and considering configuration details. Be familiar with Single sign-on authentication in Engineering Lifecycle Management. Also be familiar with configuring and administering Microsoft® Active Directory when you are using Simple and Protected GSS-API Negotiation Mechanism (SPNEGO) with WebSphere® Application Server Liberty.
