Known issues

Workarounds

The following issues in this release have workarounds.

Intermittent issue that is observed during navigating back to the report screen after you export the report to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PDF, or HTML screen

Problem

Create a Jazz® Reporting Service report and export to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PDF, or HTML screen. Now, try to open the hamburger menu instead of opening the JTS application list, you get the error message that indicates that the server is offline.

Workaround

  1. Refresh the export page.
  2. The export page will always open in a new tab, so the user can access other applications from the reports listing page.
  3. Enter the URL of the target application.

Report Builder data sources are not automatically created for other Jazz Reporting Service instances

First occurrence 7.0.2

Problem

When you have more than one LQE instance that is registered with the JTS and you attempt to connect to data sources from Report Builder. Only the data sources from one Jazz Reporting Service instance are added.

This problem is recognized as a product defect and will be addressed in future releases.

Workaround

You need to add the data source in the Report Builder manually, see Adding data sources

The rs_compact command is not working in Report Builder

Problem

The rs_compact command is not working in Report Builder. When you use the rs_compact command in the terminal or command prompt, the following error is displayed:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.xerces.util.XMLChar

Workaround

To resolve the issue, add the xercesImpl-2.12.2.jar to the server> upgrade> rs folder.

Limitations

Clustering is not supported in Lifecycle Query Engine (Jazz Reporting Service) and Link Index Provider when used with Jazz Authentication Server (JAS)

Problem

Importing ready-to-use reports does not work in the Report Builder

Problem

When you import ready-to-use reports, the Report Builder must import those reports into its All Report list. Currently, in certain situations (details to be determined) it is not importing the reports and still it shows that reports are imported successfully.
