Managing the URL allowlist

You can add a domain that is neither a friend server nor a registered application to the URL allowlist. The URL allowlist permits applications, clients, and web pages for the Jazz® Team Server to send requests to other sites. For example, you could add a site that will provide an OpenSocial gadget for a dashboard.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Administration page of the Jazz Team Server or an application registered with the server.
    • For the Jazz Team Server:
      1. Point your web browser to https://[fully qualified hostname]:9443/jts/admin
Remember: The [fully qualified hostname] is the host name along with the DNS domain reference of the machine on which the Jazz Team Server is installed.
      2. On the Administration page, click the Server tab.
    • For an application registered with the server:
      1. Point your web browser to https://[fully qualified hostname]:9443/[application]/admin to access the application, where [application] is ccm for example.
  2. In the Communication pane, click Allowlist (Outbound).
  3. To add a URL to the allowlist, in the Add New Allowlist URL section , in the Enter Base URL field type a base URL (in the format scheme://domain:port/). Then, click Add.
  4. Optional: To edit a domain name in the URL allowlist, hover over the domain name in the Jazz Authentication Proxy Allowlist section and click the Edit URL in the allowlist icon. After making changes, click Save.
  5. Optional: To delete a domain name in the URL allowlist, hover over the domain name in the Jazz Authentication Proxy Allowlist section and click the Delete URL in the allowlist icon.
