Tagging schedules to organize them

Add and remove tags to group and organize schedules. You can add multiple tags to a schedule.

Before you begin

You can tag (or remove tags from) any schedule on the My schedules or All schedules pages.

Procedure

  1. Open the Report Builder home page: http://hostname:port/rs/reports
  2. In the banner, click Schedules. Then click the All schedules or My schedules tab.
  3. Select the Group by tag option from the Group menu, if it is not selected by default.
  4. Complete one of the following steps to remove or add tags to schedules:
    • Remove a tag from a specific schedule by clicking Remove Tag <Tag Name> on the Actions menu of the schedule.
      Note: To remove a tag from a specific schedule or multiple tags from multiple schedules, select the schedules or tags, click the Remove tags from schedule (Push button to remove tags) icon, and in the confirmation dialog box, click Remove.
    • Rename a tag by clicking Rename on the Actions menu of a tag. The tags are renamed on all the schedules in which it is used.
    • Add a tag by clicking the Add tags to selected schedule Push button to add tags icon.

    You can also tag the schedule on the Edit page.

What to do next

Search for schedules by schedule name, the corresponding report's name, or tags by typing a search string in the Search field and clicking the Click to search Search lens icon icon or pressing the Enter key. You can search for a schedule by the report name only if the report is available. You can also refine the list of schedules that are displayed on the All schedules and My schedules pages by applying filters based on visibility or tags.
