Printing and exporting BIRT report output
After you run a report to produce report output, you can print the results or export them to be saved in a specific format.
About this task
Depending on the type of report and if the report has been imported into the application, you can run reports from the application interface or from the report server interface.

About this task
You can run and print any available BIRT reports. You can print report output from your browser.
You can export a BIRT report to a file in multiple formats:
- Adobe PDF
- Adobe Postscript
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Note: Some
information may be missing from the exported file if the format in
which you choose to export the results does not support that type
of information. For example, graphics may not display in exported
Excel files.
Restriction: You cannot run requirements
management development intelligence reports from the application interface.
You must run them on the report server.

Procedure
Save the report output.
- In the report results, click the Export button
in the upper-right corner of the report page. The format selection window opens. - Select the format in which you want to export the report
and click Submit.
You are prompted to save the report in the format you selected. - Navigate to the location where you want to save the exported
report. You can edit the report name. The report is saved in the format and location you specified. You can access the exported report using the appropriate application.
