Known issues

Review the issues with workarounds and limitations at the time of 7.0.3 release. For updates on these issues, see interim fix readme documents or IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management documentation.

Workarounds

The following issues in this release have workarounds.

569349 Context sensitive help links in web UI do not work

First occurrence: 7.0.3

Problem: Context sensitive help links that appear throughout the web UI do not work.

Workaround: To search for the help topics in the online help, in the Help menu that is located on the page header, click Help Contents or Getting Started.

569585 Help center URL is changed and requires manual update of teamserver.properties

First occurrence: 7.0.3

Problem: The help center URL has changed for EWM. This requires an update to the teamserver.properties file for the existing servers. Update the com.ibm.team.repository.web.helpuri property to http://www.ibm.com/docs/SSF34G.

Workaround: If you upgraded an existing server to 7.0.3, and did not tailor the com.ibm.team.repository.web.helpuri property, do the following steps:
  1. Look for the existing entry for com.ibm.team.repository.web.helpuri in the teamserver.properties file, which might look something like this: com.ibm.team.repository.web.helpuri = /clmhelp/index.jsp.
  2. Update the property com.ibm.team.repository.web.helpuri to http://www.ibm.com/docs/SSF34G.
569160 Loading of Engineering Lifecycle Management web pages is slow and requires multiple browser refresh with certain versions of HAProxy

First occurrence: 7.0.3

Problem: Loading of Engineering Lifecycle Management web pages is slow and requires multiple browsers refresh when using HAProxy as the reverse proxy. The issue has been observed with certain versions of HAProxy.

Workaround: Use HAProxy 2.8.3 or later to fix the issue.

568961 Installing the updated IBM Plex fonts causes garbled display of the UI in the Engineering Lifecycle Management web pages

First occurrence: 7.0.3

Problem: You might see garbled text in the Web UI after installing the updated IBM Plex fonts.

Workaround: Restart the web browser.

570855 Engineering Lifecycle Management 7.0.3 is not installable on IBM i using Java 11 when 7.0.3 is initially released – solved in 7.0.3iFix001

First occurrence: 7.0.3

Problem: IBM i issues related to Java 11 in APAR SE80903 are resolved with IBM i system PTFs and Engineering Lifecycle Management 7.0.3 iFix001. For details see 570855: Engineering Lifecycle Management 7.0.3 Installation on IBM i 7.5 with Java 11 – known issues.

  Jazz® Team Server on IBM i does not respond with TLS1.3

First occurrence: 7.0.3

Problem: After the Jazz Team Server is started for the first time on IBM i, connecting via a web browser may wait indefinitely during the initial handshake. There is a known communications problem on IBM i, APAR MA50366, which has been fixed. Make sure the related PTF is applied to your IBM i server.

Limitations
