Managing floating client access licenses

You can use the administrative web interface to manage and monitor floating client access licenses.

Floating client access license management overview
The products in this release support both authorized user and floating user client access licenses (CALs). Floating CALs are managed as a pool that can be shared by multiple users who can individually acquire a license when they need it, if one is available from the pool. For example, if two users only use an application occasionally, then those two users can share a floating client access license instead of purchasing two separate authorized user CALs.
Installing and managing floating client access license keys
You can install and configure floating client access license (CAL) keys through the License Key Management section in the Administration page of the Jazz® Team Server.
Monitoring and releasing floating client access licenses
You can monitor floating client access license usage through the Administration page of the Jazz Team Server and if necessary, release a license so that it is available for another user.
