Installing interim fixes on Jazz Reporting Service

Install the war files for Jazz Reporting Service deployed on WebSphere® Liberty server.

Procedure

  1. Rename the new rs.war file as rs.war.zip.
  2. Stop the WebSphere Liberty server for Jazz Reporting Service.
  3. If you want to revert the interim fix, take a back up of the following file.
    <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\servers\clm\apps\rs.war.zip
  4. Delete the following files:
    • <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\servers\clm\apps\rs.war.zip
    • <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\clmServerTemplate\apps\rs.war.zip
  5. Delete the following directories:
    • <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\servers\clm\apps\rs.war
    • <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\clmServerTemplate\apps\rs.war
  6. Extract the new rs.war.zip file into the following directories:
    • <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\servers\clm\apps\rs.war
    • <JRS_installation_directory>\server\liberty\clmServerTemplate\apps\rs.war
  7. Start the server.

What to do next

To verify that the interim fix is successfully installed, complete the following steps:
  1. After the server starts, open the Jazz Reporting Service page.
  2. Click the question mark icon on the upper right.
  3. Select About Jazz Reporting Service.
  4. Verify that the build ID is the same as specified in the interim fix.
