Deleting reports or folders

You can delete a single or multiple reports and folders.

About this task

You can delete a single or multiple reports and folders from the Reports tab listing.

Procedure

  1. You can delete a single or multiple reports and folders.
    • To delete a single item, click the More actions icon for the corresponding item.
    • To delete multiple items, select the checkbox for the corresponding items. 
  2. From the list of actions, click Delete. A dialog box displays information that the selected items will be permanently deleted and all the associated schedules for the items will expire.
    Note:
    • If you are deleting a folder, then the dialog box displays information that all the items will be deleted, including subfolders and reports in those subfolders. 
    • If you attempt to delete any items that you do not have permission to delete, you will receive an error and can remove those items from your selection and try again. 
  3. To continue deleting the selected item, click Delete or click Cancel to return to the Reports tab listing.
    Tip:

    If you delete items by mistake, you have a short amount of time in which you can undo the delete action.
