Creating, editing, or copying reports

You can create, edit, or copy a report directly from the Reports tab listing.

About this task

To create a report in Report Builder, click Create > Report. You can then configure the report and run it.

You can make some simple edits to reports directly from the Reports tab listing, such as edit the name or description, or change owners or tags.

Procedure

Complete the following steps to make simple updates directly from the Reports tab listing:

  1. To edit the name of a report, hover over the report name and click the Edit icon. Specify your changes and press Enter or click away from the input field.
  2. To edit the name description of a report, hover over the report description and click the Edit icon. Specify your changes and press Enter or click away from the input field.
  3. To create a new report based on an existing report, click More actions for the report, and select Copy from the list of actions.
  4. Optional: To change owners, see Managing owners.
  5. Optional: To change tags, see Managing tags.
