If you use a Derby database on z/OS instead of Db2 , you can skip to Running Jazz Team Server and the Engineering Lifecycle Management applications on a z/OS system with IBM WebSphere Liberty on z/OS.

About this task

These instructions describe how to connect to Db2 on z/OS from a server on z/OS or from a server on an operating system other than z/OS . The Db2 setup tasks should be performed by your Db2 administrator.
