Restoring archived access groups

You can restore archived access groups so that they are visible in the user interface and can be used to limit access to artifacts, such as work items.

Before you begin

You must have either JazzProjectAdmins or JazzAdmins repository group permissions.

About this task

An archived access group is not visible in the user interface but it is not deleted permanently. If you need to use an archived access group, you can find it and restore it to an active state.

Procedure

  1. On the Application Administration page of the web client, click the Access Groups menu. See Logging in for project administrators and team leads (web).
  2. Click Show Archived icon, the Show Archived icon.
  3. In the Actions column of the row of the access group that you want to restore, click Restore icon, the Restore icon.

Results

The access group is now visible in the list of access groups on the Access Groups tab and is available for project administrators who want to limit access to artifacts, such as work items.
