You can write LQE reports on data from IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS® . Use the Engineering Requirements Management DOORS working set, attribute and
link type mapping, and the reportable shape to determine which data is available for
reports.
Procedure
-
In LQE, add
DOORS as
a resource group.
- On the Lifecycle Query Engine
Home page, click Administration or go to
http://<host_name>:<port>/lqe/web/admin/data-sources
and click Permissions under Access Control.
- On the Permissions page, select the DOORS 9 - DOORS
ERS Repository (TRS 2.0) data group and add specific users, a user group, or the
Everyone group to grant permission for running DOORS
reports. For more information, see Managing user
access to data sources in Lifecycle Query Engine.
- On the Administration page, click Data
Providers under Query & report data.
- Click DOORS 9 - DOORS ERS Repository (TRS 2.0) and then, click
Reindex to reindex the data provider.
Note: Whatever data that is seen by the LQE
Functional User in DOORS
and added to the working set in DOORS ,
can be seen by all users that get added to the DOORS
TRS permissions in LQE. The
project area DOORS Database - RM Project Area that gets created in LQE
derives its permissions from the DOORS TRS permissions, since there is no correlation between JTS
users and DOORS
users.
-
After the reindexing is complete, manually refresh the type system model for the LQE data
source in Report Builder:
-
Open Report Builder
(https://server_name:port/rs).
-
Click the Administration icon on the
product banner and select Data Sources.
-
Click the Lifecycle Query Engine link.
-
Click Refresh.
-
Start building a Lifecycle Query Engine
report.
-
When you build the report, limit the scope to DOORS Database - RM Project
Area.
-
Select the Requirement> DOORS Requirement
artifact type.
-
When you are satisfied with the format of your report, run the report.
