Lesson 3.1: Start the Rational® ClearQuest Gateway

In this lesson, you will start the ClearQuest® Gateway. The ClearQuest Gateway is a server process that the ClearQuest Synchronizer uses to establish communication between the ClearQuest user database and the Jazz® Team Server.

About this task

The ClearQuest Gateway must be running before you can start the ClearQuest Synchronizer Setup Wizard. The Jazz Team Server must be running before you can start the ClearQuest Gateway.

To start the ClearQuest Gateway:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the install-directory/ClearQuestSynchronizer/gateway folder.
  2. Double-click server.startup.
    A separate console window opens and displays status and informational messages.
