Uninstalling the server includes removing the contents of server from the specific
directory and rolling back to the backed up version.
Procedure

Stop the Engineering Lifecycle Management server.
- Take a back up and then remove the contents of the following directory
<server_installation_directory>/server/patch.
- Clear the application server cache. For instructions on clearing the cache, see the
documentation of the application server. To clear the application and class cache on WebSphere
Application Server, complete the following steps:
- Remove the contents from these directories under the profile root. For example:
<WAS_HOME>/<AppServer>/profiles/<Profile>, except for the noted help
directory: temp, wstemp, workspace.
Note: Do not remove this directory, which is required for the ELM local help:
temp/{jts_node}/{jts_server}/clmhelp_war.
- For UNIX platforms, run the following script:
<WebSphere_HOME>/bin/clearClassCache.sh
- For Windows platforms, run the following script:
<WebSphere_HOME>\bin\clearClassCache.bat
- Start the Engineering Lifecycle Management server.
- Run repotools-<app> -clean for each application that is installed.

- - repotools-jts -clean
- - repotools-qm -clean
- - repotools-relm -clean
- - repotools-rm -clean
- - repotools-dcc -clean
- To validate that the server is successfully installed or uninstalled, complete the
following steps:
- After the server starts, open an Engineering Lifecycle Management application.
- Click .
- In the Build Information section, review the interim fix information to
confirm that it is either installed or uninstalled.
