When you create a project area, you must specify a template
that defines the process that the project area will follow. You can
create or import a template, or you can use one of the predefined
templates. Before you can use the predefined templates, you must deploy
them to the repository.
Procedure
- On the Application Administration page
of the web client, click the Templates tab.
- Click Deploy Predefined Templates.
A message asks you to confirm that you want to deploy the templates.
Attention: If you upgrade from a previous release, deploying
templates overwrites the previous versions of those templates. If
you have customized the templates and want to preserve those customizations,
open the templates in the Process Template editor; change their IDs
and names; and save them before you deploy the new predefined templates.
Results
The predefined templates are deployed, and you can now select
one of them when you create a project area.
