Unlocking a synchronized stream

If a synchronization engine process is stopped or IBM® Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) source control becomes unreachable during a synchronization, the synchronized stream remains locked. You must unlock the stream before a new synchronization can be performed.

Before you begin

Before unlocking the stream, verify that there are no synchronization engine processes running for that stream.

Procedure

To unlock a synchronized stream:

  1. Open the ClearCase-Synchronized Streams view, right-click the stream that is locked and click Open.
  2. In the Synchronized Stream editor, on the ClearCase page, click Unlock.
  3. Restart the synchronization process. For more information, see Starting the synchronization engine process.
