For any configuration-enabled IBM®
Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
application, such as IBM Engineering Requirements Management
DOORS® Next (DOORS Next) or
IBM
Engineering Test Management
(ETM), you can decide whether to see all incoming relationships from work items to requirements in
DOORS Next, and test artifacts in ETM
regardless of the IBM Engineering Workflow
Management (EWM) release
that is associated with such relationships in a specific global configuration context.
Enabling this property excludes the work item relationships with incompatible releases in a
global configuration context, and also makes Report
Builder consistent
with the incoming relationships. You can use the Administration page of the
corresponding ELM
application to configure this property.
Procedure
-
Log in to the Administration page of the ELM
application that is registered with the Jazz®
Team Server by pointing
your web browser to the following URL:
https://fully-qualified-hostname:9443/application-name/admin
Remember: The fully-qualified-hostname is the hostname along with the
DNS domain reference of the machine on which the ELM
application is installed, and the application-name is rm,
qm, ccm, or gc.
- In the Configuration section, click Advanced
Properties.
- Go to the Links Component section and locate the Exclude
work item relationships with incompatible releases property.
To view more
information about the property, hover over the property name.
- To enable the Exclude work item relationships with incompatible
releases property, click the property name, or click Edit. Then,
from the Current Value menu, select true.
Note: The default value of the Exclude work item relationships with incompatible
releases property is set to true to preserve the fixed behavior
from prior releases. You can change the setting of this property if you want to turn
off the filtering to show all incoming links from work items in DOORS Next and
ETM
regardless of the EWM release
association.
- Click Save.
