Reviewing a history of server renames

You can generate a mapping history file that includes a log of all server rename events.

Procedure

  1. Stop the Jazz® Team Server.
  2. Open a command prompt in the JazzInstallDir\server directory and run the repotools-jts -exportServerRenameURLMappingHistory command.
    • For Windows operating systemrepotools-jts.bat -exportServerRenameURLMappingHistory toFile=mappingHistory.txt
    • For Unix operating systemsFor Linux operating system./repotools-jts.sh -exportServerRenameURLMappingHistory toFile=mappingHistory.txt
  3. Include the mapping history file if you need to submit a defect or contact IBM support due to any issues with server rename.
