Installing Publishing Document Builder on WebSphere Application Server with Admin Console

Installing IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Publishing Document Builder on WebSphere Application Server by using the Admin Console involves installing the new interim fixes to the installed software.

Before you begin

Stop the Publishing Document Builder on the server. In the WebSphere Application Server Admin Console, click Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise applications, select the rpeng_war checkbox, and then click Stop.

Procedure

  1. Select the rpeng_war checkbox and then click Update to update the rpeng_war file.
  2. Select Replace the entire application, browse to the new rpeng.war file in the extracted folder, and then click Next.
  3. Accept all the default values during the installation.
  4. After the update is complete, save the configuration changes when prompted.
  5. Select the rpeng_war checkbox and then click Start to start the Publishing Document Builder.
