In the Git integration diagnostics page, if you see an issue with the secret key mismatch
category, complete these procedures to resolve the issue.
About this task
After you register the Git repository, or locate the existing registered repository, make sure
the secret key check box is selected in the hosting server details sections.
Procedure
- Go to the Git repository registration page in EWM.
- Under hosting server details section, ensure that the secret key checkbox is
selected.
Note: If it is cleared and you do not want to provide a secret key, leave the checkbox cleared in
the webhook configuration in Git repository.
- If the checkbox is selected, then reenter the secret key.
- Open the Git repository web UI.
- Edit the webhook settings and enter the same secret key from step 3. For more
information, see editing webhook in GitHub to provide a secret and editing webhook in GitLab to provide a secret token.
