Configuring DOORS URLs

You must configure the IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS (DOORS ) redirector service, the IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS - Web Access (DWA) server, and the DOORS database server.

Procedure

  1. Open the server\festival\config\doorsRedirector.properties file in a text editor.
  2. Set the doors.url.prefix value to match the database server that is serving DWA in the form doors://host:port/, where host is the name of the DOORS database server system and port is the port number that it uses (typically 36677).
    Important: Do not delete the / at the end of this value.
  3. Optionally:
    • Disable forwarding from the redirector service to DWA by setting <entry key="dwa.enable">false</entry>
    • Disable forwarding from the redirector service to DOORS by setting <entry key="doors.enable">false</entry>
  4. Save and close the file.
  5. Start the DWA components.
