Access rights for link modules

The access rights for link modules, and the actions that they allow. To set access rights for a link module, open the module properties and select the Access tab. In the database explorer, right-click the module and select Properties. In the module window, select File > Properties.

Access right Description
Read (R) See the module. Users who do not have read access to the module cannot see it in the database explorer.
Modify (M)
  • Change the name, description, and attribute values of the module
  • Create a link
Create (C)
  • Create linksets
  • Create attribute types and attribute definitions for the module
Delete (D)
  • Delete, undelete, and purge the module
  • Delete a linkset from the module
  • Cut the module to the database explorer clipboard
Admin (A)
  • Change the access rights for the module
