This is an important helper as it automatically creates a lot of the allocation
dependencies between Activities and the elements that can perform them for each domain in the
framework.
About this task
Considering the previous example, you can add Swimlanes and assign ResourceRoles to them by
dragging from the browser into the swimlane
heading.
-
From the browser, select the activity-based diagram and right-click, the UAF Toolkit appears.
- From the UAF Toolkit, click Synchonize Performs
Dependencies. This will create PerformsInContext dependencies
from the instances to the actions.
.
For
example, here instance are ResourceRoles in the Swimlanes and Actions are
Function Actions.
Tip: If you reallocate the elements on the process diagram you can generate new
dependencies, but the wizard cannot delete them as it has no intelligence as to what is correct.
Consider using the Synchronize Performs Dependencies wizard when you are sure that you have
allocated all your activities.
