Installing the UAF profile

About this task

UAF version 1.2 profile can be downloaded from UAF 1.2 profile along with a sample model of an Emergency Response System WildfireUAF1.2.zip. The profile is contained in a standard zip file.

Procedure

  1. Download UAF version 1.2 profile from UAF 1.2 profile along with a sample model of an Emergency Response System WildfireUAF1.2.zip.
  2. Extract the downloaded .zip file in UAF 12 folder::UAF12 package.
  3. The UAF folder in the UAF 12 folder replaces the existing UAF folder in the Rhapsody installation Share::Profiles folder.
  4. If you have UAF 1.1 installed, rename the package to UAF11 and install the new 1.2 profile in UAF.Screen capture

    Note: The UAF folder is in this location otherwise none of the helpers or wizards that are added works. When you open an existing UAF model or create a new UAF project, check for the output similar to the following dialog in the Rhapsody log window. If you do not get this output, it is likely that you installed Rhapsody in the wrong location.
