Changing the view on the browser

You can open different views on the browser so that you can compare units in different ways.

About this task

To change the view on the browser, when available, choose:

  • View > View all to view all model elements, including the ones that are the same in both units.
  • View > View diff to view only those model elements that are different in the two units.
  • View > View Conflicts to view only those model elements with non‑trivial differences that will require manual merging.
  • View > View undecided to view elements with differences that are neither in nor out of the merge. This option is available only in merge mode. For more information, see Making merge decisions.
  • View > View in merge to view only those elements that are currently in the merge. This option is available only in merge mode. For more information, see Making merge decisions.
Note: Some of the menu choices might not be enabled until after you start merging.
