Opening and deleting diagrams

You can open an existing diagram by using the Open Diagram window for a diagram type. You can also do open an existing diagram through the browser by double-clicking the diagram name. You can delete statecharts and activity diagrams from both the browser and from the Tools menu. You can also use the forward and backward arrows or drop down list on the toolbar to view previously opened diagrams.

To open an existing diagram by diagram type:

1. Click the diagram type on the Diagrams toolbar to open the Open Diagram window.
2. Use either of the following choices, depending on the appearance of the Open Diagram window:
   1. If the window shows a browser, you can double-click the diagram you want to open or select it and click Open. If there is no existing diagram, Open is disabled.
   2. If the window shows a list, double-click the diagram or select it and click OK. If there is no existing diagram, the list is empty and OK is disabled.
3. To delete a diagram, right-click and select Delete from Model, or press the Delete key. Click Yes to confirm your action.
