Tutorial setup: Importing the starting point project

In this lesson, you import the sample project for the tutorial and open it.

About this task

To import the sample project:

1. Create a directory for your tutorial project.
2. Download the compressed project files, available on the Rhapsody® wiki:
   • Vehicle sensor model starting point This compressed file contains the starting point for your project and everything you need to begin the tutorial.
   • Vehicle sensor model prototype This compressed file contains the completed prototype. If needed, you can consult the prototype as you work through the lessons.
3. Extract the project into your tutorial project directory.
4. Launch Rhapsody Developer for C++ and select File > Open >VehicleSensor.rpy.
5. Expand the Packages directory in the project browser. The sample project contains an analysis package and a packages folder with high-level requirements, as shown in this example.

Results

In the first lesson, you work with the high-level requirements included in the imported project.
