Creating a project without a profile

You are not required to use profiles in your Rhapsody® project. When you create a project, you can create a default project that contains the basic UML features.

1. Create the project by either selecting File > New, or by clicking the New project icon in the main toolbar.
2. In the Project name field, replace the default project name, Project, with your project name. In the In folder field, enter a new directory name or browse to find a directory.
3. Select Default for the Project Type and Project Settings.
4. Click OK.

Results

The basic structure for your new project is displayed in the browser, and a Profiles folder is not displayed.
