Saving the merged unit

A new, merged unit is saved as a separate file for use in the existing project or another project.

Procedure

To save the merged unit, choose File > Save Merge As.
  • If you started the merge from within IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody , select Merge to Rhapsody. The new, merged unit is saved as a separate file for use in the existing project or another project.
  • In some cases, there might be no Save Merge As command. There might be just a Save command if the filename and its location were defined when you started Rhapsody DiffMerge (for example, from IBM ClearCase® merge manager, or the IBM Engineering Workflow Management merge process in Eclipse).
