Upgrading the IBM Engineering AI Hub instance by using Red Hat OpenShift console

Learn how to upgrade IBM Engineering AI Hub on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform console. It involves backing up of your database, running scripts, and validating that everything works as expected after the upgrade.

Procedure

  1. On the Installed Operators page, click the IBM Engineering AI Hub operator link available in the Name field.
  2. Go to the IBM Engineering AI Hub tab and click the Engineering AI Hub instance link available in the Name field.
  3. Go to the YAML view of IBM Engineering AI Hub custom resource specification and search for the installed version of Engineering AI Hub, for example, version: 1.0.0.
  4. Update the version property with the available IBM Engineering AI Hub version and click Save. The upgrade of IBM Engineering AI Hub instance to the new IBM Engineering AI Hub version starts.
  5. Verify that the IBM Engineering AI Hub instance after the upgrade process is completed. For more information, see Verifying the resources created after IBM Engineering AI Hub instance creation.
