Adding attributes to a view

Add attributes to a view to customize how requirement artifacts are displayed.

Procedure

  1. In DOORS Next, open the view of your project area.
  2. Click Configure Page Settings and select the column from the Show columns section.
  3. If the column doesn't appear in the Show columns section, then click More.
    1. In the Change Column Display Settings window, select the artifact types from the Choose the artifact type drop-down menu.
    2. Select the attributes of the artifact type and then click Add.
    3. Optional: Use the Move Up and Move Down options to organize the column display.
    4. Optional: Use the Format option to customize the column display. You can select attributes of the artifacts and wrap or trim the link text
  4. Click OK to apply your changes.

Results

The selected columns are now visible in the view.
