Generating work item synopsis

Work Item synopsis agent scans the information in a work item and generates a synopsis of the contents.

Before you begin

The custom attributes required for Work Item synopsis is added to the editor presentation of the work item type.

Procedure

  1. Open the work item for which you want to generate a synopsis.
  2. Click the generate synopsis generate work item synopsis icon icon from the menu.
    Note: The generate synopsis icon is disabled if the AI-generated synopsis attribute is not configured for the work item type or the work item is not initialized.
    The generated synopsis is displayed in the AI-generated synopsis attribute. The synopsis is automatically saved and captured in the History tab.
    Note: If the content of the work item is updated after the synopsis was last generated, clicking the generate synopsis generate work item synopsis icon icon replaces the current synopsis with the newly generated synopsis.

Results

The Work Item synopsis agent generates a synopsis of all the information available in the work item and displays it in the AI-generated Synopsis attribute. The Synopsis Generation Date indicates the date and time at which the synopsis was last generated.
